Rhode Island 2025 Climate Action Strategy
Rhode Island is integrating its CCAP with its legislatively required 2025 Climate Action Strategy. Rhode Island’s 2025 Climate Action Strategy is led by the Executive Coordinating Council on Climate Change (EC4), a 13-agency group chaired by the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (RIDEM).
Massachusetts Comprehensive Climate Action Plan
Massachusetts’ CCAP is led by the Massachusetts Office of Climate Innovation and Resilience (“Climate Office”), which is connected with each of the eleven Secretariats of the Executive Branch through a corps of Secretariat Climate Officers.
New Hampshire Comprehensive Climate Action Plan
New Hampshire’s CCAP is led by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES).
California Comprehensive Climate Action Plan
California’s CCAP process is led by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) in close coordination with the California Environmental Protection Agency (CalEPA), through an 18-member interagency California CPRG Task Force.
Oregon Energy Strategy
Oregon is calling their CCAP the Oregon Energy Strategy. The Oregon Energy Strategy is led by the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ) in collaboration with the Oregon Department of Energy (ODOE).
Washington Comprehensive Climate Action Plan
Washington’s CCAP is led by the Washington Department of Commerce on close collaboration with the Washington Department of Ecology. Commerce and Ecology are coordinating with tribal and municipal CPRG recipients across Washington and with other state agencies through a new initiative called the Washington Climate Partnership.
Alaska Comprehensive Sustainable Energy Plan
Alaska initiated a state-level Comprehensive Sustainable Energy Action Plan (CSEAP) in 2024. Alaska’s CSEAP process is led by the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation’s (ADEC) Division of Air Quality, with the Alaska Municipal League (AML) contracted to provide support to the planning effort.
